Contech Forum 2019 takes place in London on June 21 2019. Daniel McCrea, Head of Publisher Services at Adaptemy, will be speaking at 12:15 in the Sloane Suite.
At ConTech 2018 “Transforming Content through data science, AI and emerging technologies”, Daniel spoke about how Adaptemy leverage student activity data to improve the content curriculum map for an educational partner in China: How best to guide an individual learner through the curriculum of the course of study.
This year he would like to update the ConTech audience on their progress modelling student data to evaluate and improve the quality of the content itself. Their Content Model reconciles pre-defined metadata with real user experience, including difficulty level, discriminants, probability of guessing, probability of having a slip, expected time to solve the question. It also contains real-time analytics of its usage and impact on learning effectiveness. He’ll be zeroing in on a real case study from an educational partner in Spain.
