We have just returned from BETT, the British Educational Technologies Tradefair in London. Adaptemy exhibited as an “Edtech Innovator” with Edmix, and showed our new Adaptive Learning Interface for the first time.
BETT is the world’s largest event for school technologies, along with the ISTE conference in the US, and tens of thousands passed through the main hall over the 4 days.
We had an enthusiastic response to our new product, from teachers and school leaders, to private tutorial colleges, publishers and government agencies. We look forward to keeping in touch with all of our new contacts.
Our GCSE Maths programme is piloting in UK schools shortly, to help us fully understand the teacher needs and specific curriculum issues, and will launch in 2015.
We were joined at BETT by fellow Dublin-based EdTech startup, Apperbook, who were presenting their educational ebook platform to publishers and institutions from around the world.
One of the incredible things to strike any visitor of BETT is the scale of the show, and the marketing budgets lavished by companies on their stands. Taking turns at our stand, we spent most of our time investigating the latest products from all of the other companies at BETT, and remain quietly confident of our unique learning technologies, and the ability of our team to innovate and develop this into the market-leading learning technology. No pressure then, but look out for us here next year!
